What is in the data
One record per website. Every field comes from what the website itself publishes, or from public registries.
| Part | What you get |
|---|---|
| Verdict | A real business, parked, for sale, under construction, empty, or blocking crawlers. |
| Category | One place in a tree of about 60 categories, for example Hospitality › Accommodation › Hotel. |
| Location | Street, city, province, region, country and coordinates, so "hotels within 10 km of Barcelona" works. |
| Company | Name, legal name, VAT number (checked), opening hours, email addresses, phone numbers and social profiles, where the site publishes them. |
| Business | Webshop, bookings, software or lead generation; payment methods, delivery options and review widgets. |
| Technology | More than 7,600 technologies: website builder, shop platform, booking tool, analytics, hosting and mail provider. |
| Quality | About 55 checks on findability, accessibility, trust and security, with a score. |
| Domain | Age, registrar, hosting provider and country, mail setup and certificate. |
| Freshness | When the site last changed, and when we last read it. |
How researchers get it
Per country or sector
All Belgian websites, or every restaurant in the Benelux: you choose the slice your research needs.
In your format
CSV, Parquet or JSON lines, ready for R, Python, DuckDB or a spreadsheet.
Over time
Snapshots on a schedule we agree on, so you can compare periods. Every record says when it was read.
Know the limits
SitesGraph reads public web pages, not company registers. On a test of about 100 websites it could read 84% of them, and found a city for 76%, an email address for 66% and a VAT number for 29%. "Found" means we have a value, not that it is always right. We tell you exactly how each field is measured before you rely on it.
Business websites sometimes list people, like a team page or a personal email address. That is personal data: we only share it when your research needs it, and you handle it under the privacy rules that apply to you. See ethics and robots.txt.
